The Williamson Recreation Committee is composed of eight community volunteers and one paid director who oversees recreation programs for children and adults in Williamson. Many programs are sports, but we also provide a six week summer camp in the Williamson Town Park for grades 1 through 6. Our main goal is to provide positive experiences in sports and camp activities to help people grow and enjoy new opportunities. The committee does its best to keep costs down for participants; most programs are designed to pay for their own costs. The WRC philosophy is that all who sign up for a team or program get equal play or participation time. Sports programs include: Winter Basketball - Biddy Basketball (skill development) - Travel Basketball (team competition, grades 5—8) Pee Wee Wrestling Winter Indoor Soccer Spring Softball Spring Baseball (all levels) Summer Soccer Summer Tennis Camp Fall Lacrosse Adult Woman’s Volleyball (entire school year) For more information, please contact the director: Larry Luke at fruitlukes@aol.com
