Greetings from the Assistant Principal,

We are in the home stretch of the year! As the weather begins to turn warm, we have taken some time in the Middle School to remind our students of the PRIDE philosophy. The PRIDE motto stands for Perseverance, Responsibility, Integrity, Dignity and Excellence. We spend a great deal of time emphasizing the meaning of each of these words and how to apply them in a day-to-day setting.

Dignity refers to how one conducts oneself as well as how to relate to others. As our students maneuver through the pre-teen and early teen years, the importance of being kind and treating others well is a theme we have to revisit occasionally. Everyone benefits from a positive and caring environment. Our goal is to have our students support each other and celebrate the successes of all. Please take time to review with your child the PRIDE philosophy and the importance of kindness.

It is our goal to make the middle years meaningful and inviting for all our students.
