Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program
2022-2023 School Year
The Williamson Central School District has a well-established Universal Pre-Kindergarten program at our Elementary School. Any child within the district, who will be four years of age on, or before, December 1, 2022, may be enrolled. (Students with birth dates between 12/2/2017 and 12/1/2018).
Information packets will be mailed to families who have completed the district census form on February 1, 2022.

Parent Information Night
March 2, 2022, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. via Zoom
At this time, you will hear information about the program.
This is also the time for Kindergarten registration, if you have a student who is entering Kindergarten in September 2021. Registrations for UPK will be accepted in the District Office through March 11th to be included in the initial lottery drawing. Any late registrations will be honored if slots still exist. If the program is full, registrations received after March 11th will be placed on a wait list.
Notifications of placements will be mailed home the week of March 21st.
New York State Public Health Law, Section 2164, requires that all students entering school in New York State must be immunized or have a medical or religious exemption from such immunizations. As required by NYS Public Health Law all students enrolled in a pre-school program are required to show proof that the child has had a blood lead test. Every child must be fully immunized according to ACIP/CDC guidelines, please contact your child’s pediatrician if you have any questions. A dental assessment form is also enclosed to be completed and returned at your convenience.

Student Transportation Form (if transportation is requested)
In addition to the completed forms, the following information will also be needed:
- Current Immunization Record
- Health Certificate /Appraisal Form (including Lead Screening Information) +*
- Dental Assessment Form (not required at time of registration)
- Proof of Residency
- Proof of Age
