The Williamson Central School District is committed to providing students a safe learning environment that respects the dignity of all. Williamson schools are continuing the multi-year implementation of a K-8 Olweus anti-bullying program and a grade 9-12 Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program.
In July 2012, the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) will ensure each school in New York State has a plan to both prevent and respond to harassment/bullying. Williamson Central Schools are currently reviewing and updating school protocols and response systems to ensure a safe environment for all students, staff, parents and community members where students are ready to learn.
We recognize that despite our best efforts, students and parents may need additional assistance to responds bullying. To ensure a quick response to parent and student concerns, the district has appointed DASA coordinators in each building.
If you wish to anonymously report bullying, please call (315) 589-9661.
