Annual Professional Performance Review Plan
The Williamson Central School Districts APPR plan was approved by the New York State Department of Education on November 5, 2015. The approval letter and detailed plan can be viewed here: Annual Professional Performance Review Plan
New York State law allows parents and legal guardians of a student to request the effectiveness scores and final ratings of teachers and principals to which their student is assigned for the current school year. Federal law allows parents and legal guardians of a student to request certain information about the professional qualifications of the classroom teachers who instruct your child. Bullying Prevention (DASA)
The Williamson Central School District is committed to providing students a safe learning environment that respects the dignity of all.
In July 2012, the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) will ensure each school in New York State has a plan to both prevent and respond to harassment/bullying. Williamson Central Schools are currently reviewing and updating school protocols and response systems to ensure a safe environment for all students, staff, parents and community members where students are ready to learn.
We recognize that despite our best efforts, students and parents may need additional assistance to responds bullying. To ensure a quick response to parent and student concerns, the district has appointed DASA coordinators in each building. If you wish to anonymously report bullying, please call (315) 589-9661.

District Safety Plans
According to Section 2801-a of the New York Education Law, every school district's board of education is mandated to adopt and amend comprehensive district-wide school safety plans and building-level emergency response plans. These plans must address crisis intervention, emergency response, and management. The plans should be developed by designated safety teams and adhere to guidelines established by the commissioner in consultation with relevant state agencies.
