    Juniors and Sophomores – Counselors will be finishing up their meetings with you this week for course selections for next year. They will be calling you out of study hall, lunch or elective classes. Freshman – they will start meeting with you after break. 

    Broadcasting club members, today is the last day to get your permission slip in for the 13 WHAM field trip tomorrow. You also need to complete a runaround sheet. If you are going on the field trip tomorrow please meet Mrs. Keymel in the front foyer at 10:00. Students going to 13 WHAM ABC need to be dressed in professional attire. Please do not forget to bring money for lunch. 

    Sophomores – a reminder the practice ACT will be offered here Wednesday, April 19th in the morning. You must sign up in counseling. Check your email for more information. 

    Juniors – you received an email on Friday titled “junior year wrap up” with information on Dollars for Scholars, the college 2023-24 application season and more.

Upon entering the front loop, you will have 2 stops: first is the Main Entrance overhang to give your name and verify your order, then drive to the second overhang and your order will be loaded into your vehicle.

    If you are interested in re-taking a Regents exam to possibly obtain a higher score, please let Mrs. Prater in the counseling office know as soon as possible.

    Mrs. Davis – “Evita” is going on tonight and tomorrow night at 7pm. Tickets are 15 dollars at the door prior to each performance. We are looking for help to sell concessions at the show to benefit your club and earn some fundraising money. Please see me if you are interested! We’ll see you there!

    Dr. Avery – Community service needs to be complete and all forms turned in by Friday, April 14th. If you do not have your hours completed and logged into Xello you will NOT be walking in June! So please take advantage of all the opportunities that have been presented and get those hours in, so you can participate in your graduation ceremony and walk out of here with your friends.

    Mrs. Bendschneider – To piggyback off of that, we have a Volunteer opportunity! We are still looking for Ushers for tonight’s and tomorrow’s performances until about 7:15. It’s an hour of community service, plus you get to watch the show. We would love to have your help.

We’ve added tonight, and still need help Friday and Saturday this weekend, and to help pass out programs. So if you need some volunteer hours, it would be just an hour from 6:15-7:15pm each night, and I will have Community Service forms ready to go. Concert attire will be required; either all black, or white top/black bottoms. If you’re interested, please let me know, and you are welcome to stay and watch the show!

    Mr. Coon – Today is the last chance to sign up for the Chess tournament. We just need one or two more.

    Mrs. Silva – The PRIDE ticket Mark’s pizza raffle starts today. Please enter your tickets into the bucket in the Main Office. We will do the drawing next Thursday in Forum.

    Dr. Avery – 2 things: A reminder in regards to Prom tickets, if you want to attend, you must regularly come to school on time and attend your classes. You cannot be absent or late every day and expect to be able to attend Prom. Prom is for Juniors and Seniors, so Freshmen and Sophomores, the only way you are able to attend is if you are a guest of one of the upper-classmen. Otherwise you will have to wait your turn.

                Lastly, Seniors, we have a fun activity planned for you for next Friday morning. We did it last year, and you’ll be finding out more later.

    Any student interested in possibly attending any of the 3 New Visions Programs next year, please come to the counseling office to pick up the application forms and a permission slip to visit the program. Paperwork is due April 7th.

    The Drama Club is looking for student volunteers to act as ushers at the performances of Evita this week, helping seat guests and hand out programs.  Concert attire will be required, so either all black clothing OR white shirt and black pants or skirt.  We have opportunities available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings this week from 6:15 to 7:15.  Volunteers also have the option of staying for the show!!  We will have community service forms available each evening.  If interested, please see Mrs. Bendschneider or sign up outside of Mrs. Davis’s room.

    Dr. Avery – 2 things: The first is a piggy-back to Mrs. Schillaci about Prom. You must be in school and on-time in order to attend. You can’t just never come to school or be chronically late and still expect to attend Prom.

    Secondly, we have a new Security Guard from Intercept Security. Please welcome Mr. Chris. The district has been on the hunt for an SRO for a LONG time, and we finally have him here with us.

    Mr. Comstock – Congratulations Alexa Governor for making First Team All-Greater Rochester for Indoor Track!
