Year after year, it is our distinct pleasure to celebrate Veterans Day at the Middle School with a ceremony, performance and luncheon for our community members who have sacrificed for and served our country.

Veterans Day is a time to honor and express gratitude for the service and sacrifices of military veterans. This day reminds us of the many who have given their time, energy, and sometimes their lives, to ensure the freedoms and security we enjoy.

Huge shout-out to all involved — student speakers, student performers, Kate Taylor, Bryon Rockow, music department, teachers, support staff, EVERYONE who contributed — in the Veterans Day Celebration at our Middle School. It was an outstanding tribute to our veterans and a point of pride for the district.

Special thanks to Lake Winds Florist & Gift Shop and our Williamson Central School PTSA for making this event so special. Additionally, we'd like to thank Senator Pam Helming and Assemblyman Brian Manktelow for making the time to come to WMS and speak to our students, staff and local veterans.

What an absolute honor it is to have our service members come to the Middle School each year for this important celebration of our veterans. We thank you all for your service, your sacrifice and for sharing your time with our students.
