Students in our advanced high school art classes have been sharpening their observational and technical skills through a focused study of still-life artwork. Using a variety of materials, students explored how everyday objects can be transformed into compelling works of art through careful attention to color, texture, light, and composition.

The collection featured here highlights two distinct projects. The vibrant candy still lifes were created using acrylic paint, allowing students to experiment with bold color choices and expressive brushwork. In contrast, the toy still lifes were rendered in colored pencil, emphasizing fine detail, layering, and precision.
