11.16.20 Message from Marygrace Mazzullo, Superintendent of Schools

Good Afternoon.

This is Marygrace Mazzullo, Williamson Superintendent of Schools. Today is Monday, November 16th, 2020.

Please be advised that this afternoon the District was made aware that one of our high school students has tested positive for COVID-19.  The student has not been in person at school since November 3, 2020, so there is no risk of spread to students and staff and no need for further contact tracing.  No other action is required at this time.

If the Department of Health indicates further action is needed on the part of the district, we will communicate directly with you. At this time, there will be no impact to our students’ instruction, athletics or extracurricular activities.

This news serves as a reminder of the importance of wearing a mask, washing hands and practicing social distancing. Please contact your medical provider or the Wayne County Department of Health if you have any additional questions or concerns. Our Principals are also available to answer any building or student-specific questions.

We will continue to provide relevant updates. We are grateful for your continued support.

Best,

Marygrace Mazzullo

Superintendent
